Stayversary Day #6

The 6th Fanmeeting over this weekend reminded me of the first Fanmeeting I attended on Beyond Live, which was just last year. Who can forget about the year of solo swaps (Seungultra), Carpe Diem (Seungrapper), and fluffy outfits (Seungcoconut). Even when watching from online, I felt as if I was there and part of the experience. It's incredible to think about all the fans gathering from all corners to share their love and enthusiasm for the artists.

Around this time was also when I joined my very first Group Order (GO) to get photocards from the event. I was still relatively new to collecting and had heard of GOs but didn't really participate as I was very unsure of how it all worked. Luckily, I found some very friendly Group Order Managers (GOMs) who were willing to help me learn and understand the process. It was fun entering the world of photocard collecting, but I had no idea how many photocards there actually were. Once I delved deeper, the sheer number of photocards available was astonishing—more than I could have ever anticipated. And as someone who is a completionist, it was a challenge unlike any other I had seen.

I will say overall my first experience with GOs was mixed. There were some amazing GOMs, and others that frustrated me beyond words. I couldn't understand why there was such a large difference between people obtaining the same cards. Being the curious person I am, I started looking into how I could obtain the cards for myself. This pursuit of understanding ultimately started my journey as a GOM.
